What we stand for, where we meet, what we do...
We are a group of local Democrats who work together to help elect Democrats at the county, state and national levels by informing and contacting local voters.
Mssion Statement

That commitment is reflected in an agenda that emphasizes the strong economic growth, affordable health care for all Americans, retirement security, open, honest and accountable government, and securing our nation while protecting our civil rights and liberties."
The mission of the Kennett Area Democrats is to promote the goals of the Democratic Party at the grassroots level by:
- Deliver President's Obama's message at the local level to the entire community
- Encourage green businesses which will repair the economy, help the environment and decrease unemployment.
- Support affordable and quality healthcare for all Americans
- Invest in clean renewable energies which will create millions of new green jobs and slow the greying of PA.
- Demand ethical government at all levels and hold Democratic legislators to a high moral standard.
- Elect visionary Democrats who will help move our country back to prosperity.
Monthly Meeting
We meet 7:00 PM monthly at the Kennett Township Building, 810 Burrows Run Road, Chadds Ford, PA 19317, on the Thursday following the second Wednesday of the month. We usually meet in the basement with it's own entrance to the lower left/west side of the building.
The second Wednesday of the month is the 7:30 PM Chester County Democratic Committee Executive Meeting at West Chester Borough Hall.
Newsletters
In addition, we send out newsletters to thousands of Democrats in the Kennett area and run weekly ads in The Kennett Paper and the Chadds Ford Post.
We do phone banking, canvassing and voter registration drives to encourage non-voters to become part of the political process. Each person does make a difference.
Support for Local Candidates
We give fiscal and logistical support to local candidates for borough council, township supervisor, board of education, state house of representatives, state senate, US Congress, as well as other races as the need arises.
We serve as the first line of contact between local Democrats and the county, state and national Democratic Party.
