Welcome to Kennett Area Democrats

The Kennett Area Democrats represents Zone 8 of the Chester County Democratic Committee, and are dedicated to maintaining a platform for local Democrats and others who support the values of freedom and community in our area. By joining with your friends and neighbors in this effort, you will be better informed, and can help us bring the message of hope to our community.

Here's the Scoop on the New Voter ID Law

The Republican-dominated legislature has passed the dreaded voter ID law and Governor Corbett has signed it into law. Now, as Democrats, we need to do everything we can to assist those who may need some help in obtaining a proper ID so they don't lose their American right to vote.

For details on obtaining a proper voting ID for both the primary and the Fall general election, click here. You may also visit www.VotesPA.com.

If you have questions or need assistance in obtaining a proper Voter ID, talk to your local Democratic Committee Person.

2012 Fundraiser Underway

2012 is a major election year and the stakes are very high. Democrats all over the nation must rally to maintain the presidency and rebuild our majorities in the congress. At the local level, the Kennett Area Democrats need funding for mailings, events, phone banks, canvassing, and, while the Obama campaign has an office in West Chester, we plan a separate election season office in Kennett Square for our local area. Please donate generously to maintain and build our local presence to help our cause both locally and nationally.
